Töpferstudio

The pottery studio at Gateway Arts offers the diverse creative opportunities of the ceramic medium; individualized programming and adaptive equipment are available to suit the artist’s needs. Artists can explore handbuilding, use the throwing wheel, or simply apply their designs to precast items. Those who are averse to the texture of clay might have their designs transferred to tiles or other ceramic surfaces. Artists can complete sculptures, plaques, bowls, vases, clocks and other items in the studio.

The recently-renovated studio features two kilns, a throwing wheel, a slab roller, an extruder, and updated safety equipment.
