Serina Gordon

Serina Gordon has been attending Gateway since 2022.

Serina Gordon is a self-taught artist who uses painting to express spiritual and emotional ideas that evade spoken language.  Working primarily in gauche, she starts by covering the canvas with different colors or, as she describes it, she “makes a mess on the canvas.”  She then studies the canvas, finding shapes and images and allowing the visual information to guide her through a process of adding and subtracting until she arrives at a satisfying resolution.

Gordon has shown at the Artist’s Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place.
