Madison Wang

Madison Wang is from Newton, MA and has been attending Gateway since 2021.

The daughter of two architects, Wang has always found drawing to be soothing and enjoys working with a variety of 2D media.  She will sometimes start a piece with a particular color or shape and then follow the marks on the page to discover new images or patterns.  Since starting at Gateway, Wang has been exploring some new media and processes, including sewing, which she has discovered a particular affinity for.  She hopes to continue this exploration; as she puts it, she’s always “looking for a new angle.”
