Catherine Zhao

Catherine Zhao is from Newton, MA, and started working at Gateway Arts in 2022.

Zhao works with a variety of drawing and painting mediums.  Her work has a controlled, graphic quality to it and demonstrates an appreciation of balance and symmetry.  Her subject matter ranges widely from road signs and flags to animals and landscapes, but her style remains distinctly recognizable.  When she is not working on her art, Zhao enjoys travel and playing the piano.
