Alejandro Flores

Alejandro Flores is from Hyde Park, MA and has been a Gateway Artist since 2022. 

Flores’s preferred mediums are colored pencil, marker, and paint.  Prior to starting at Gateway Arts, Flores took afterschool classes at MassArt, where he studied a variety of mediums, including painting, photography, and animation.  Flores draws inspiration from books, video games, graphic design, graffiti, and other sources he encounters in everyday life.  His interest in design is evident in the dynamic compositions he crafts, in which graphic shapes function as symbols against looser, energetic marks.
